This Morning guide viewers from mid morning until lunchtime, taking over from Lorraine Kelly at 10am on weekdays until the Loose Women take to the air at 12:30pm.
Just like GMB earlier in the day, This Morning almost always carries a selection of competitions, running for weeks at a time.
For the bigger prizes, the draws are shared across the daytime shows, so you’ll see the same prize appearing across the main TV series throughout the morning.
In addition to the main competition, throughout school term times, there’s usually a daily game of Spin to Win or 12 at 12 to give us all a bonus chance to win.

Closing Dates For Entering To Win £60,000 in cash
If you choose to enter by phone, text or online, the closing date for most competitions on this morning is the final Friday that it’s shown on the TV, or for post it’s the Thursday of the following week. This can vary a little due to bank holidays, but holds true for most of the year.

This Morning Competition Phone Number
Phone entries are possible using either a landline or mobile phone. All you need to do is to call 09068 78 60 60 ahead of the competition closing on 17th May 2024 at 3:00pm. Your entry calling this number will cost you £2.00 on your bill plus the network access charge associated with your phone line.
This Morning Competition Text Number
SMS entries work in the same way as texting anyone else, however you need to use a specific shortcode and message to lodge your entry into the prize draw.
The number to send the message to is 86060, and the message needs to read WINNER.
By default, you’ll also get promotional messages about future competitions run by ITV when you enter by text – if you don’t want them then you just need to add NO INFO on the end. That means a complete message reading WINNER NO INFO will mean you opt out of marketing after entering this competition.
SMS entries cost £2.00, plus your normal text messaging cost. You’ll need to complete your entry by sending the text before the closing date of 17th May 2024 at 3:00pm.
This Morning Competition Online Entry
The ITV Win website is home to all of ITV’s competitions, and not just the paid ones. You’ll also find the free entry comps too, including This Morning’s Spin to Win when it’s on air.
Online entry via the ITV Win website portal means that you’ll get a couple of bonus extras when you enter, plus some special offer style competition entry bundles.
Generally, when you enter through the website, you’ll get 20 bonus tokens per paid entry for use in the bonus competitions section, and in addition a ticket into the weekly Winsday draw held every Wednesday.
The special offers mean that when you enter multiple times in one go on the website, you’ll get extra entries added in for free. You usually have to buy at least three entries together for this to take effect. Read the page carefully after clicking the ‘Enter Online Now’ button on the page linked below for full details.

When you enter online, there’s a much smaller risk of buying an entry that doesn’t count, unlike phone and text message routes. That’s because when the competition closes the website instantly removes the competition, in this case it closes on 17th May 2024 at 3:00pm.
We’d recommend that you don’t leave it right until the last moment though, as it can take a couple of minutes to complete the process including payment.
This Morning Competition Postal Entry
Postal entries are the route ITV provides to get a free entry. The law around competitions requires that you are able to enter a competition without a purchase being necessary if there is no element of skill, which applies in this case.
For that reason, postal entries are (sort of) free – in the sense you don’t pay ITV to enter. You do, however, need to pay for a stamp to post your entry.
A stamp is currently still cheaper than the paid entry routes for the competition, so arguably offers the best value – but you won’t get the extras that come with the online entry route we just discussed in the last section.
