Loose Women is on air on weekday lunchtimes on ITV1, with the panel discussing the day’s hot topics along with interviews and discussion with topical guests.
The show begins at 12.30pm, taking over from This Morning as the nation pauses for their lunch break.
The panel consists of a rotating panel of presenters, often referred to as the Loose Ladies, and periodically adds extra guest presenters on hosting duties to join the conversation.
Often sharing a competition with This Morning, you’ll regularly see the Loose Women competitions a couple of times a day with big cash prizes and sometimes other prizes too including holidays and cars.
Competition presenters in the lunchtime slot include:
- Lisa Snowdon
- Joe Swash
- Michelle Ackerley
- Kate Lawler
Of course, when there’s a really big prize on offer, King of Competitions Andi Peters can make an appearance too, but he’s typically reserved for the GMB and Lorraine competition slots.
There are a few types of competitions that are commonly appearing across This Morning and Loose Women:
- Big cash prize draws
When a prize is cash only, it’s rarely less than £50,000. While it’s unlikely that ITV will call it life changing money for legal reasons, it certainly would be for most people. It’s enough for many to pay off their mortgages, and for a lot more to significantly reduce their monthly outgoings. For others it might be enough for that once in a lifetime getaway, or perhaps even pay for their wedding! - Holidays
When there’s a week or two away up for grabs, it’s usually to somewhere spectacular, and more often than not hot too! What’s more, holiday prizes are usually accompanied by a five figure cash sum too, so it’s likely to have a total value to rival some of those big cash wins in the first section. - Cars
The cars that appear in some competitions tend to be the kind of vehicles that the average household rarely buy, often top of the range prestige models. Again, they usually come with a huge lump of cash too, generally multiple tens of thousands of pounds. - Camper vans and motor homes
It could be that we lumped this in with cars as a vehicles section, but thought it was worth splitting out because the motor homes and camper vans seem to be really popular with viewers. Having your very own hotel room on wheels is great for those that like to get out and explore, particularly around the UK and even into more distant parts of Europe.
Competitions usually give viewers the chance to enter for £2 online, or for the same price plus telephony fees by phone or text message. It’s usually also possible to enter for free by post, so all you need to pay for is a stamp to send in your entry.
The Current Loose Women Competition
Currently, there’s a competition running during Loose Women live shows to win a prize of £60,000 in cash.
Entry Routes To Win £60,000 in cash
As we said, there are four ways to enter:
Phone | £2.00 |
Text (SMS) | £2.00 |
Online | £2.00 |
Post | Free |
Closing Dates For Entering To Win £60,000 in cash
While the paid entry methods to get into the draw almost always close at the same time, the postal route requires more time, often up to six further days.
In the case of the current draw, here’s when your entry needs to be with ITV by to be in with a chance of winning the £60,000 in cash prize:
Phone | 17th May 2024 at 3:00pm |
Text (SMS) | 17th May 2024 at 3:00pm |
Online | 17th May 2024 at 3:00pm |
Post | 23rd May 2024 at 4:00pm |
How To Enter This Week’s Loose Women Competition
Now that we’ve got the prize and closing dates covered, let’s get to the detail of how to actually enter.
For your chance to enter to win the prize of £60,000 in cash, here’s what you need to know…
Loose Women Competition Phone Number
Phone entry is quite straightforward – you just need to dial the entry phone number which is 09068 78 60 60 in time to lodge your entry before is closes on 17th May 2024 at 3:00pm.
Calls are priced at £2.00 plus your network access charge – that’s any additional fees from your phone operator. Check your phone contract if you’re not sure.
Loose Women Competition Text Number
In order to enter by text, sometimes called SMS, you’ll need to send a normal message from your phone to 86060, with the message WINNER.
If you simply send the word WINNER, you’ll enter the draw and agree to receive promotions from ITV – usually relating to other ITV Win competitions.
If you don’t want to receive those messages and just enter the competition without opting in to marketing, you can put NO INFO on to the end of the text, so the whole message that you send would say WINNER NO INFO when you send it.
The message will cost you £2.00 to send, plus your standard (out of allowance) text message fee.
Just like entering by phone, be sure to allow time to complete your entry before the competition closes on 17th May 2024 at 3:00pm, so don’t literally leave it to the last minute!
Loose Women Competition Online Entry
Probably the best, and certainly the quickest way to enter if you’re opting for a paid route in to the draw is to use the ITV website.
Website entries also get additional perks like twenty bonus tokens per paid entry, which can be used for entering special extra competitions on ITV Win. In addition to the tokens, you’ll get a Winsday ticket for each paid entry you buy, up to a maximum of 30 Winsday entries per week.
You can find all the information relating to the bonus entries when you enter online, for example entering a three times might get you an extra three entries for free in the main competition draw, effectively doubling your chances.
When you press the ‘Enter Online Now’ button, you’ll see the extras listed when you choose how many entries you’d like, so be sure to read them carefully to understand what you’re buying and how much it will be costing.
As a side point, it’s easy to be tempted in the heat of the moment to buy extra entries to reduce the cost per entry, so if you’re impulsive by nature, think ahead about what you’re prepared to spend!
If you’ve won any entry credits from something like the weekly Winsday draw in a previous week, you’ll be able to use those to discount against the entry fee when you enter a paid competition.
You can find the online entry page here, which is where you can find the link to the current competition terms and conditions page too (just beneath the blue ‘enter online now’ button).
It’s helpful when entering online that option simply disappears when it closes, so it’s far less likely that you’ll pay for an entry that doesn’t count. With phone, text and postal entries, if you’re late completing your entry you probably won’t end up in the draw. We’ve all heard the voiceover on the competition promos – you will not be entered but you may still be charged.
Even though they disappear as the closing date and time pass, please note the closing time for online entries is 17th May 2024 at 3:00pm.
Loose Women Competition Postal Entry
Finally, let’s get to the ‘free’ entry option for the current competition to win £60,000 in cash.
We put free in inverted commas because you’ll need a stamp, a piece of paper and an envelope to lodge your entry, which arguably isn’t completely free.
Unfortunately the days of simply going to the ITV website and entering for free with the huge prize competitions are long gone – now it’s just things like Free Cash Friday on GMB and Spin To Win on This Morning that are free to enter online – Loose Women rarely has free competitions with online entry.
It is quite easy to use the postal entry route though, you just need to put a little effort in. All you need to do is write your name and phone number on a slip of paper, pop it into an envelope and address it to:
DY 17
PO Box 7558
Derby
DE1 0NQ
You’ll need a stamp on your postal entry too as it’s not a Freepost address, and make sure that you post it in time to be received by the closing date of 23rd May 2024 at 4:00pm.

Let’s bring all of that together in a simple table:
